Retail Manager – Home / Garden

Our client, a busy and successful home, lifestyle, and garden centre known for their fantastic and premium offering in garden planting, accessories, and home interiors is seeking to recruit a Retail Manager to join their team in North County Dublin.

This is a wonderful job opportunity for an enthusiastic leader with an interest and experience in customer-facing and fast-paced retailing. A genuine interest in working within a garden centre environment is essential with strong people, commercial, and operational management skills.

Job responsibilities:

• Supporting the Operations Manager with all aspects of store management
• Drive performance across the store, through team motivation, coaching and training
• Analyse sales reports and react accordingly
• Communicate and aim to achieve all set and agreed KPI’s
• Manage and evaluate sales, categories and shrinkage
• Ensure company policy and processes are implemented and adhered to at all times
• Ensure excellent visual and commercial store standards
• Train, develop and coach your team to ensure the best in class
• Ensure all customers receive the best in service and experience

Skills and experience required:

• 2-3 years of retail management experience within a fast-paced and ever-changing retail environment
• Strong commercial and operational experience
• Experience in visual merchandising
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills required
• Enthusiastic and energetic with a love for customer-facing retailing

Salary package:

• 40-45K
• 37.5 hour contract
• Excellent working hours – no late nights
