Regional Support Manager

Excel Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Support Manager to join a leading grocery retail brand in the South East region.

This is a 12-month contract role with the potential for further opportunities within a dynamic and growing organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role in supporting and developing stores, driving sales, and enhancing brand excellence.

Salary: €50k-€55k + Bonus, Car

Key Responsibilities of this Regional Manager:

  • Train and support retailers in executing the brand plan to the highest standard, ensuring consistent delivery across all stores.
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers to further develop the brand and drive profitable sales growth.
  • Store Operations: Work closely with retailers on various operational aspects, including:
  • Facilitating new store openings and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Managing store revamps, working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Supporting under performing stores by implementing tailored operational plans and measuring their impact.
  • Promoting retail excellence by developing and sharing best practices across the store network.
  • Enhancing fresh food skills within stores to maximise sales and profit in this critical category.
  • Engage with retail partners and participate in cross-functional teams to bring the brand to life, auctioning feedback and driving continuous improvement.

Who you are as a Regional Manager:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience in a store management position is essential. A third-level qualification in Sales, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in Fresh Food departments, with a strong understanding of how to maximise sales and profit in this area.
  • Experience in managing retail projects as part of a cross-functional team, along with strong financial and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and colleagues.
  • Strong commercial awareness and value-selling skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
