Product Specialist – Automotive
Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting a Product Specialist on behalf of our client, based in Dublin 22.
Our client one of Ireland’s leading motor parts distributors, is seeking an Automotive Parts Product Specialist to join their dynamic team.
As product specialist you will manage and enhance the automotive parts portfolio, ensuring products align with market demands. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to develop and launch new products while maintaining the accuracy and relevance of product data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new products and suppliers, develop and manage a portfolio of motor parts.
- Conduct market price research and competitor analysis to ensure competitive positioning.
- Add new products, update existing product details, and manage large data sets using Excel and other systems.
- Upload products and applications to our electronic catalogue, ensuring up-to-date, accurate listings.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and propose new product ideas to management.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the motor industry.
- Knowledge of motor parts and automotive aftermarket trends in Ireland.
- Strong PC skills, particularly Excel. Experience with MAM Autopart is a plus.
- Excellent eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
