Operations Manager
Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead a large-scale catering operation on a prominent corporate campus in Cork.

Requirements of the Operations Manager:

• Proven experience in a similar operations or senior management role within hospitality, catering, or facilities services
• Strong leadership, people management, and delegation skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume food service or soft service operations, ideally across a large site or multi-outlet location
• Proficient in budgeting, reporting, and inventory/stock management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to deliver high service standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of catering across a large campus
• Inspire and guide a large, diverse team to deliver exceptional service standards
• Liaise with the client to ensure expectations are consistently met or exceeded
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, training, and performance to ensure operational efficiency
• Monitor hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards across the site
• Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services
• Maintain full oversight of budgets, cost controls, and P&L performance
• Develop and implement new operational initiatives to improve service delivery and profitability
• Report regularly to senior management with data-driven performance insights and recommendations
