Excel Recruitment are looking for Operations Manager to lead a growing Dublin based team. The ideal candidate would have to have 5+ years experience in the same role. Highly competitive salary decided on experience.

This is challenging an exciting new position opening as our Operations Manage as the chosen candidate will encourage and develop the team and bring there own new ideas to the table.

This role will focus on managing and organising all aspects of the warehouse and transport operation encompassing all tasks from when the order is placed with our sales team to when the orders are delivered to our customers. This is a customer focused business and the ideal candidate needs to be a motivated and customer focused.

Key Position Accountabilities:

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service in the Transport and Warehouse Team.
• Direct, optimise and coordinate full order cycle
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange and plan out warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach and train the team
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with Health and Safety
• Continuously look for improvements to operations
• Working proactively with various departments to realise efficiency and manage expectations

Essential requirements:

• At least 5 years of proven working experience as a logistics or Operations manager
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Excellent analytically, problem solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations
• Strong leadership Skills
• Interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good personal presentation
• Ability to make Decisions under pressure
• Good commercial and business understanding
• Working knowledge of ERP
• Licensed to drive
• Experienced in working in a multicultural environment
• Familiar with Workplace Safety and Environmental factors
