Fresh Food Manager – Cork

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Fresh Food Manager for our client’s supermarket in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh food, exceptional management skills, and a proven track record in a similar role.

Salary: €50k – €55k

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the fresh food team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
• Ensure all fresh food products are of the highest quality, beautifully presented, and meet the company’s standards
• Oversee ordering, receiving, and managing inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimal waste
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
• Train, mentor, and develop team members
• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the fresh food department
• Monitor and report on KPIs

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
