Fresh Food Manager – Cork

Salary: €45k – €50k

Our client a grocery retailer is passionate about all things fresh, delicious, and local. As Fresh Food Manager you will be in charge of driving high standards across the department in order to maximise sales. if you have previous experience with fresh food in a big-box retail environment and are looking for your next challenge this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and motivate a team of talented fresh food experts, from bakers and butchers to baristas and beyond
• Create a vibrant, welcoming, and impeccably presented fresh food department that delights customers every day
• Ensure every item in our fresh food range is at peak freshness, flavor, and presentation.
• Stay ahead of food trends and seasonal favourites, bringing new ideas and excitement to shelves and displays
• Oversee stock management, minimise waste

What We’re Looking For:

• You’re a fresh food fanatic with a love for all things high-quality, local, and sustainable
• At least 2 years of experience in food retail management,
• You know how to make customers feel valued and can create a memorable shopping experience
• Proven ability to motivate, train, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
• You can manage stock levels, ordering, and scheduling, all while keeping your cool and delivering results
