Customer Service Specialist – German Speaking
Our client, a fast-paced scaling e-commerce US start up are building out their new office in Ireland and are looking to hire German speaking Customer Service Specialists.
Based in their City Centre offices, this role sits within the Customer Experience team, which is dedicated to ensuring users have a seamless and positive experience from purchase to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and high-quality support to both buyers and sellers via email and chat
- Resolve queries related to payments, orders, shipments, and general platform use
- Become an expert on internal systems and tools to drive efficient outcomes for users
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Identify patterns in customer feedback to help improve processes and prevent repeat issues
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Fluent in German and English, and experienced in covering the DACH region
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer support or service role
- Available to work weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Familiarity with support platforms
- Experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not essential
