Checkout Manager – Kilkenny

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Checkout Manager on behalf of our client, a large, established retailer in Kilkenny.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a background in checkout operations to take the next step in their career.

Salary: €35k – €40k

Responsibilities of this Checkout Manager:

• Lead and manage the checkout team to ensure efficient operation and excellent customer service.
• Oversee cash management and till reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Train and develop checkout staff, providing coaching and support where necessary.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Maintain high standards of checkout area presentation and ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements of this Checkout Manager :

• Previous experience in a similar checkout or retail management role is essential.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cash-handling skills.
