Catering Assistant – Larne
Are you an enthusiastic, outgoing individual with at least 1 year of catering experience? Excel Recruitment are looking for a Catering Assistant to join a friendly, fast-paced team in Larne on the Antrim Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming environment where no two days are the same!

As a catering assistant you will be working day shifts from 8am-3pm on a long-term basis and may be required to assist with light kitchen duties.

Responsibilities of a Catering Assistant

• Serving food and drinks in a polite and friendly manner
• Ensuring the dining and kitchen areas are always clean and tidy
• Always following health and safety and food hygiene procedures
• Supporting the kitchen team and taking instructions to keep things running smoothly

Requirements

• Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Food Safety and Manual Handling certificates (Excel can help with this)
• Energetic and proactive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure
