Area Manager – Co. Cork

Excel Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager for our client in Co. Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to lead multiple stores within the region, driving sales, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Salary: €50k – €60k

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple locations within the Cork area. Lead, mentor, and develop store managers to ensure the highest standards of performance
• Drive sales growth and profitability across the stores by implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring performance, and making data-driven decisions
• Ensure all stores adhere to company standards in terms of merchandising, stock levels, health & safety, and customer service
• Focus on delivering exceptional customer service across all stores, responding to customer feedback, and continuously improving the shopping experience
• Identify training needs, provide coaching, and support the professional development of store teams. Promote a positive working environment and encourage teamwork
• Manage budgets, analyse financial reports, and ensure all stores meet their financial targets
• Ensure all stores comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role within the retail industry. Proven track record of managing multiple locations
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and drive high-performing teams
• Demonstrated ability to increase sales and profitability through effective management and strategic initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands. Flexibility to travel across the Cork area as required
