Checkout Supervisor

Excel Recruitment is excited to collaborate with a prominent retail company in Waterford City.

We are looking for a Checkout Supervisor who will play a key role in managing the checkout area and leading a team of cashiers.

Your primary focus will be to ensure efficient operations while upholding excellent customer service standards.

Salary: €32k – €35k

Key Responsibilities of this Checkout Supervisor :

• Supervise and support checkout staff, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Monitor cash handling and ensure accuracy in transactions.
• Assist with training and development of new staff members.
• Implement store promotions and ensure compliance with merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised checkout area.

Requirements for this Checkout Supervisor :

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate financial records.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
