Trainee Manager – Cork

Excel Recruitment are seeking Senior Supervisors, Duty Managers or Trainee Managers for our clients in Cork.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with retail experience to grow into a management role with a leading retailer.

Salary: €32k to €36k DOE

Company Overview:

Our clients are successful retailers that have won many awards over the years. They are part of large symbol groups and are looking for dynamic retail individuals to continue their success in the year ahead.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in the daily operations of the supermarket
• Lead and supervise staff, ensuring excellent customer service and store standard
• Manage stock control, including ordering, stock rotation, and inventory management
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently met
• Assist in achieving store targets and maintaining high levels of performance

Requirements:

• 2+ years of retail experience, ideally in a supervisory or team lead role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Ambition to progress into a full management role
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
