Multidrop Rigid Driver

€180 - €196 Transport and Logistics Waterford

Excel Recruitment is actively looking for an experienced Rigid Truck driver for a busy wholesale company in Waterford City.

  • 44 hours contract (10 over 14 days)
  • Primarily Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays
  • Start Time is 7 am and every 6 weeks it is 10 am for a different run
  • Drivers are required to have a C License, CPC up to date and a Tacho Card

A Rigid Multi-Drop Driver in Waterford is responsible for delivering goods to multiple locations efficiently and professionally. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, excellent customer service, and effective time management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi-Drop Deliveries: Deliver goods to various customers within the designated region, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

  • Vehicle and Load Checks: Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and its load to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

  • Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary invoices and paperwork promptly.

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, addressing concerns or queries professionally.

  • Compliance: Adhere to all basic food safety requirements and company policies.

  • Skills:
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
    • High motivation with the capability to meet set deadlines.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Good knowledge of Waterford and surrounding areas.
    • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
